The Billionaire’s Obsession (The Complete Series) by J.S. Scott

Goodreads Synopsis:
This complete collection of The Billionaire’s Obsession includes: Mine For Tonight Mine For Now Mine Forever Mine Completely Down on her luck, nursing student and full-time waitress Kara Foster gets a massive blow to her already desperate financial situation that will surely find her living on the streets. Needing nothing less than a miracle to save her, Kara gets rescue from an unknown, unlikely and overwhelming source. Billionaire Simon Hudson makes her an offer that is impossible to refuse, but terrifying to accept from a man that she’s never met. Will the handsome, alpha billionaire really be a solution to her problems, or will he end up being a major complication and a danger to her emotional sanity? Reclusive billionaire Simon Hudson would rather be behind a computer creating computer games than rubbing elbows with the elite and he knows exactly what he wants…until he meets Kara Foster. Something about Kara touches Simon in ways he’s never experienced and definitely doesn’t like. For over a year, Simon watches over Kara, but stubbornly refuses to admit his desire to possess her, not even to himself. But when she ends up in a situation that could very well be her destruction, Simon steps up to help her, not realizing that in saving Kara, he might very well be salvaging his own soul. This is an erotic romance and is not intended for YA readers. It contains graphic language, explicit sex and other subjects not appropriate for YA readers.
My Review: 4 out of 5 Stars
I read these four books as a complete series. This series consists of Mine For Tonight, Mine For Now, Mine Forever, and Mine Completely. The books flow seamlessly from one to the other, and really do read like one cohesive novel.

Kara Foster is a nursing student working her way through school at the restaurant owned by billionaire Simon Hudson’s mother. She doesn’t have much money, and is already working tirelessly in school, the restaurant and her best friend, Maddie’s free medical clinic. Kara keep to herself and doesn’t think that she is anything special.

Simon Hudson, the debonair and devastatingly handsome billionaire had been admiring Kara for the past year, ever since he caught a glimpse of her beauty in his mother’s restaurant. He doesn’t do relationships. Sex for him is about give and take. Women give him sexual pleasure, and they reap the spoils from his financial status.

When Simon is at the right place at the right time, he sweeps in and rescues Kara from a very bad situation. He gives her an offer she can’t refuse. The sexual attraction he feels for her only intensifies with her being in his home. When they slide between the sheets, fireworks run rampant. It is more than amazing sex, Kara finds that she is falling in love with this dark soul, and tries to save him from the inner demons he is battling.

Simon is definitely an alpha male. He is strong and dominant. I loved the possessiveness that Simon felt over Kara. He wasn’t overly-cavemanish as some of the books with alpha males tend to be. Kara is the good girl that wants to save the troubled soul as much as the troubled soul is trying to save her. I felt like they were a very good match, and seemed believable. Simon was excruciatingly hot and sexy, and the passion between he and Kara is smoldering.

In this series, we also meet Sam Hudson, who is Simon’s older brother, and Maddie, Kara’s best friend. There seems to be a history between these two, and their story continues in Heart Of The Billionaire, and I really would love to see what is behind that tension.
